Classic Movie Quiz 2

Not only am I a big fan of quilting, but I also love old movies.  There’s nothing I love to do more than cuddle up with a quilt and watch old movies.  A few years ago, I made a fun little movie quiz (found here) to see if you could name the film by looking at the picture.  I thought it would be fun to do another quiz, but a little more difficult.  If you can’t figure out the movie, just scroll your mouse over the picture to get the answer.  Good Luck!

Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn

Paula Prentiss and Rock Hudson

Rock Hudson and Doris Day

Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart

Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball

Marilyn Monroe and Betty Grable

William Powell and Myrna Loy

Julie Andrews and James Garner

Rex Harrison and Doris Day

How did you do?  These are all fabulous movies and I highly recommend all of them.  If you haven’t seen one, you should definitely give it a try.

**Update** I’m curious how you scored.  Leave me a comment to let me know how you did and to suggest a favorite movie for my next classic movie quiz!

**Warning**  **Spoilers!**

I noticed there was no way to view the answers to the quiz using a mobile device, so here are the answers:

1. Desk Set 2. The Trouble with Harry 3. Man’s Favorite Sport 4. Pillow Talk 5. The African Queen 6. The Long Long Trailer 7. How to Marry a Millionaire 8. Shadow of the Thin Man (From the series ‘The Thin Man’) 9. The Americanization of Emily 10. Midnight Lace

  2. Great score! It's always fun to find a fellow classic movie lover... I believe the movie with Debbie Reynolds is called "The Pleasure of His Company". I saw it years ago and forgot all about it. I'll have to keep a lookout. Thanks for the suggestions. Many of the stars did move to television (including lots of variety shows). I watched Rock Hudson in 'McMillan and Wife' long before I knew he was a movie star from the 50's and 60's. I'll keep that in mind!
