I have been looking for the right table runner pattern to use on my dining room table for the last 6 months. I just couldn’t find what I wanted. Until last month, I saw a table runner a friend of mine had made out of the ‘Marmalade’ fabric line. It was exactly what I wanted.
I looked through my stash and found a ‘Fig and Plum’ charm pack, that has been sitting around for a few years. It was perfect. (I did take out all the purple squares though.)
I’ve never done a curvy border or cut my own bias binding. Two new firsts for me! I just traced my friends curvy table runner to get the pattern for mine. And for the continuous bias binding, I followed the tutorial found here, made by the Missouri Quilt Co. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. It makes a great focal point for my dining room.

Your table runner is beautiful, I love fig tree fabrics.
